About Me and My Art

My name is Eunju Gerry and I am a visual artist. As a South Korean artist, you will find that my works are quite the opposite of typical Asian art.

I create my art works with acrylic and oil paints and use an array of techniques to develop my personal style. When I create my artworks, I always consider color and contrast.

I use primitive vivid colors which are very vibrant reds, rich yellows, and strong blues in my paintings to show my emotions and energy. I paint with a defined contrast between light and shade to show strong contrast of the shape

I discovered my own innovative style of art. I mix many mediums together in one painting. I may use acrylic paint, print, ink, water color, Chinese ink, and more on one canvas.

I create unique colors with different value scales.

I communicate emotion in my art works with striking contrasts, textures and colors.

I create my “3 Dimensional Art” on canvas. After extensive research, I have not found anyone else that creates art in my unique style.

I create using exotic materials on canvas and then paint with both oil and acrylics. The materials have a special treatment applied that allows me to work with them and also to make the artwork durable. I believe that you will feel my passion and energy through my projects.
